  ZEFIRA на иврите означает Утреняя Звезда, озаряющая небо. И параплан ZEFIRA действительно станет восходящей звездой на парапланерном небосклоне.

  APCO как правило, не производит специальных парапланов для соревнований, концентрируя все свои усилия на так называемых “нормальных парапланах” или “парапланах выходного дня”.
  Имея очень высокую репутацию как фирмы, которая производит серьёзные соревновательные парапланы, такие как Bagheera, Astra, Xtra и Tigra, которые, в своё время, устанавливали мировые рекорды, мы вновь входим на соревновательную сцену. Что обязывает нас предоставить параплан, который должен превзойти все ваши самые оптимистические ожидания.

  За крайние 2 года, мы вложили значительные усилия в разработку нового поколения парапланов первой категории ФАИ (FAI Class 1) для соревнований - ENIGMA и параллельно нового high end EN-D параплана. ENIGMA была представлена на рынок перед самым началом Paragliding World Championship 2011 в Испании. К сожалению, парапланы FAI Class 1 были запрещены после событий на чемпионате.
  Но усилия, вложенные в спортивный параплан ENIGMA не пропали даром. И весь накопленный опыт воплотился в нашем крайнем творении – ZEFIRA.
  ZEFIRA, основанная на революционных технологиях ENIGMA, была задумана как high end параплан, способная конкурировать с любым сертифицированным крылом.
  Наша миссия с парапланом ZEFIRA - это максимизация лётных характеристик, что делает наш параплан вполне конкурентноспособным с парапланами EN-D класса.
  Имея это в виду, мы не ухудшили лётные характеристики, но совместили их и стабильность, отзывчивость, безопасность и комфортную управляемость параплана ZEFIRA.

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS

The glider is made from tear resistant Ripstop Nylon cloth, which is P.U. coated to zero porosity and then siliconized to give the fabric high resistance to the elements. Different cloth is used for the top, bottom and ribs due to their different functions. The lines are made of superaramid covered with a polyester sheath for protection against UV, wear and abrasion. The bottom section of the brake lines is made of polyester because of its better mechanical properties. The karabiners that attach the lines to the risers are made of stainless steel.
